{"id":10394,"date":"2023-10-05T03:07:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T03:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=10394"},"modified":"2026-10-02T01:32:46","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T01:32:46","slug":"they-know-not","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=10394","title":{"rendered":"THEY KNOW NOT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We tend to assume the worst about people who sin against us.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I know exactly why he did what he did.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;She knew how much she would hurt me when she plunged the knife in, and then she turned it &#8230; on purpose.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;They did\u00a0 that just to make me mad!&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But are we mind readers? And did the one who sinned against us think through and plan every aspect of their words and actions for maximum harm against us?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we step back and look at the situation objectively, wouldn&#8217;t it be closer to say that person wasn&#8217;t thinking about US at all?\u00a0 Isn&#8217;t it more likely their motives were purely self-centered?
