{"id":10624,"date":"2010-11-12T01:19:00","date_gmt":"2010-11-12T01:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=10624"},"modified":"2026-10-02T01:36:27","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T01:36:27","slug":"day-5-the-crib-sell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=10624","title":{"rendered":"Day 5 &#8211; the Crib (Sell)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/189-1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I put our crib set on craigslist tonight.\u00a0 Our &#8220;baby&#8221; turns FOUR in January!\u00a0 This is another one of those deals where something has been sitting around the house for months and I just haven&#8217;t acted on it.\u00a0 The Princess moved into a big bed probably a year ago.\u00a0 The crib was dismantled and stored in the shed along with the rocker.\u00a0 The dressing table sat in the corner of the Princess&#8217; room for months.\u00a0 Then, a few weeks back, we\u00a0hauled the whole\u00a0set to a community garage sale, set the crib up one last time, and &#8230; took it all back home afterwards!\u00a0 At least I was smart enough to snap a few pictures while it was all set up.\u00a0 Hopefully the pictures will help it sell on craigslist. I have to admit that it will hurt my heart a bit when that furniture finally goes out the door.\u00a0 It will be a stark reminder that our kids are growing up &#8230; and so fast.\u00a0 But an extra $350 in my pocket would help sooth the pain.
