(Well, once it gets a little warmer!)<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I speak from experience &#8211; I decluttered my home office a few weeks ago and it has been a much more pleasant place to spend time ever since.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your friends at &#8220;The Minimalist&#8221; put together a list of 15 stats about Americans and our possessions and they are eye-opening.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(At least as far as you can trust stats on the internet. They certainly sound plausible.)<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For instance:<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Americans make one impulse purchase every two days, spending up to $5400 annually ($324,000 over their lifetime).&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 or 4 impulse buys a week?
