The clear implication is that he brought this upon himself. I even saw one article that compared him to Trump in a very negative way. It was almost as if the writer was wistful that the same hadn&#8217;t happened to our former president.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outside journalists, unfamiliar with Haitian politics or Haitian culture, make a few phone calls and then sit at their keyboards to create a neat and tidy narrative.
