{"id":5570,"date":"2022-12-02T03:45:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T03:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=5570"},"modified":"2026-10-02T01:33:47","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T01:33:47","slug":"faith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=5570","title":{"rendered":"FAITH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I have gotten more serious about my personal study of Scripture, I realize even though I am quite familiar with a number of key words which crop up again and again &#8211; love, peace, justice, glory, etc. &#8211; if I were pressed, articulating a coherent and complete definition would cause me great trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of those words is &#8220;faith&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I have been developing my own definition:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faith is the process of aligning my concept of reality with Reality as revealed by God. This is belief in God&#8217;s Truth followed closely by whatever action that Truth demands.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The starting point of this process is the belief that Jesus is the Son of God.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But that belief is like stepping up to the starting line.
