{"id":6370,"date":"2024-11-02T03:58:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-02T03:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=6370"},"modified":"2026-10-02T01:31:56","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T01:31:56","slug":"more-fiber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=6370","title":{"rendered":"MORE FIBER"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After getting into a verbal tussle with a fellow believer in the comments section of a YouTube video* today, I just feel the need to say this:<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your faith makes you angry, judgmental and humorless, you are doing something very wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God invited you into His family to be His son or daughter, not His theological pit bull.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although my opponent questioned my salvation, I did not return the favor.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Imagine calling a fellow believer&#8217;s salvation into question based on a few sentences back and forth on the internet!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I did not suggest that he himself was unsaved &#8211; but I did wonder aloud if he was getting enough fiber in his diet.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*If you&#8217;re curious about the venom this brother spat at me, just look at the discussion under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7Bd60XrQTng\" target=\"_blank\">this video HERE by James White<\/a>. The video highlights some interesting squabbles recently among Calvinists resulting from some creeping antisemitism in their ranks. You&#8217;ll have to click on the replies under my original comment\/question.
