{"id":9519,"date":"2023-08-14T01:43:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-14T01:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=9519"},"modified":"2026-10-02T01:32:47","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T01:32:47","slug":"ten-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevegrossblog.com\/?p=9519","title":{"rendered":"TEN YEARS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten years ago today, Melissa and the kids and I boarded a plane in Fort Pierce, Florida and flew to Haiti. We sat on the plane directly across from our cargo &#8211; clothes, household items, and school supplies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I look back on it now and feel incredible gratitude for all that it meant, living and working in Haiti for seven years. It wasn&#8217;t easy, but it was good.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I shed a few tears this morning while I was in the shower; I won&#8217;t hide it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But today also felt like the beginning of a new decade somehow.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There&#8217;s a good chance that the next ten years will prove to be even better.
